Vizwriting – Factual TV for the curious: documentaries, science, history and news

Vizwriting questions answered, from the news desks to your login

67 answers filed under eight topics, from where the factual channels sit in your player to what to do when a login is refused.

Vizwriting, which some people type as Viz Writing, is IPTV for viewers who watch to find things out: 25,000+ live channels from 60+ countries, the factual networks and the news desks among them, and 120,000+ titles on demand with non-fiction categories of their own. The questions here are the ones that reach our WhatsApp chat, filed by topic, and each is answered in its opening line.

Read straight through or jump to a topic. The first four cover what is on and how to find it; the last four cover money, screens and the login. For a longer walk through the non-fiction side, read Vizwriting documentaries and factual TV.

Vizwriting, the service behind the name

In short: a login you type into a player app, bought and supported in one WhatsApp chat, opening a line-up whose factual and news channels we put first. The country and theme groups are laid out in the full Vizwriting channel list.

What is Vizwriting?

Vizwriting is an IPTV subscription for people who watch television to learn something: documentaries, nature, history, science, travel, food and the way things are made, plus news desks from several countries. One login opens 25,000+ live channels and an on-demand library of 120,000+ titles. It plays over your home broadband in a player app, so there is no dish, cable line or rented box.

Is Vizwriting legit?

Judge it by what you can check before money changes hands. You get a 24-hour trial of the whole service with no card, a 7-day money-back guarantee on a first purchase, plans that end on their own date because nothing auto-renews, and a single WhatsApp chat where the order, the payment and every reply are kept. Test it on your own television, then decide.

Is this the official Vizwriting website?

Yes, this is the Vizwriting website. Orders are taken in two places only: on this site and through the WhatsApp number printed on it, +212 606 968 901. A few unrelated sites trade under a name close to ours; none of them belongs to this service, and we cannot look up anything bought from them. Before paying anyone else who uses the name, message that number first.

Who is Vizwriting made for?

It is made for the viewer who picks up the remote to find something out: the person who leaves a nature channel on through a Sunday afternoon, wants the 9 p.m. bulletin they missed, or follows a breaking story on two news channels from different countries. Sport, movies and series come on the same login, but the factual side is what the service is built around.

What arrives when I buy Vizwriting?

A message, not a parcel. The order ends with one WhatsApp message holding four things: the server address, your username, your password and an M3U playlist link. The first three are known together as Xtream Codes details. Typed into a player, they bring in the live channels, the program guide and the on-demand sections. Keep the message, because it is your only account record.

How many channels does Vizwriting carry?

The line-up holds 25,000+ live channels from 60+ countries, sorted in your player into groups by country and theme. The factual networks and news desks are a small, findable part of it, next to sport, entertainment, kids and movie channels. Rather than scrolling the whole list, open one group or type a name into the player’s search box.

What does 99.9% uptime mean in practice?

It describes our servers, which are expected to be up and answering 99.9% of the time; the remaining 0.1% comes to under nine hours across a whole year. It cannot cover your side of the line. Weak Wi-Fi in the living room or an overloaded router will interrupt a program however steady the servers are, which is why the trial on your own connection is the real test.

Is Vizwriting only documentaries and news?

No, the full line-up is included. The same login opens the sports groups, entertainment networks, kids’ channels and the Movies and Series sections of the library. The factual focus describes how we explain the service, not a smaller package: there is no documentary-only tier, and nothing extra to pay for the match on Saturday.

Documentaries and factual channels

The factual networks play live inside your player’s country groups, and the library keeps documentaries you can start whenever you like. Picture questions for nature and science footage get a longer answer in how Vizwriting handles 4K.

Does Vizwriting have Discovery and National Geographic?

Yes, both are in the line-up, together with History, A&E, TLC, Food Network, HGTV and the Weather Channel. What each one airs is decided by the broadcaster’s own schedule, so the program guide is where to check a given evening. During the trial, type each name into your player’s search to see exactly which versions of the channel appear.

Where do I find documentaries in the player?

Look in two places. Documentaries broadcast right now play on the factual networks inside Live TV, filed under their country group. Documentary films and factual series to watch whenever you like sit in the library’s own non-fiction categories, reached from the Movies or Series section. Search is the fastest door into both.

Can I keep the factual channels together in one row?

Yes, with favorites, in players that offer them. Most players, IPTV Smarters Pro among them, let you mark channels as favorites; in TiviMate, favorites and hiding groups belong to the Premium version. Build one short row of the networks you return to, say National Geographic, History, the Weather Channel and two news desks, and the rest of the list stays out of your way.

Are nature programs in 4K?

Some can be, because 4K plays wherever the source itself is 4K; most factual channels arrive in FHD or HD. HDR is a separate matter that depends on the program, the player and the television all supporting it. For wildlife footage on a big screen, a wired connection and a 4K-capable stick or box matter as much as the channel you choose.

Are there factual channels children can watch?

Yes. The kids’ groups sit alongside the main factual networks, and a nature or history hour on one of those networks often suits a mixed-age family evening. Check the guide for what is on and when before you gather everyone. If your player has a parental PIN, set it before handing over the remote, so the younger viewers stay in the groups you chose.

Does Vizwriting have subtitles on documentaries?

Where the program or title carries a subtitle track, yes. Subtitles travel with the program itself, so one documentary may offer several languages and the next none at all. The button that turns them on belongs to the player, often inside an options or audio-and-subtitles menu while the program plays. Check the titles that matter to you during the trial.

How can I see what a factual channel shows tonight?

Open the program guide, which comes with every plan. Scroll to the factual networks and the grid shows what is on now, what follows and what runs later in the evening, with the broadcaster’s description where one is supplied. If a row stays empty, refresh the guide from the player’s settings; a few channels send no listings at all.

Can I start a documentary from the beginning if I tune in late?

On a channel that carries catch-up, and in a player that supports it, usually yes. Find the program in the guide and restart it from its first minute, or pick one that aired earlier. How far back a channel reaches varies from one channel to the next. Where catch-up is missing, look for the same subject in the on-demand library instead.

Can I record a documentary for later?

Only if your player records, because recording is something the app does on your own device. TiviMate Premium can save recordings on the device itself; plenty of free players have no record button at all. Before recording, check whether the channel offers catch-up; the program may be available afterwards without filling any storage. A recording stays on the device that made it.

News desks and following a story

News channels from the US, the UK, Ireland, Canada and further afield are part of every plan; the table lists them by where they broadcast from, alphabetically within each row. A missed bulletin can come back through Vizwriting catch-up TV on channels that carry it. What airs later tonight is in the program guide explained.

Broadcasting fromNews channels in the line-up
United StatesABC News Live, CBS News, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, NewsNation
Business and marketsBloomberg, CNBC
United KingdomBBC News, Sky News
IrelandRTÉ News
CanadaCBC News Network, CTV News Channel
InternationalAl Jazeera, NHK World
WeatherThe Weather Channel

Does Vizwriting have BBC News?

Yes, BBC News is in the line-up, usually filed with the United Kingdom channels, and Sky News sits in the same part of the list. Typing “BBC” into your player’s search reaches it without scrolling. When a particular bulletin airs is set by the broadcaster, so the program guide is the place to check the time.

Does Vizwriting carry CNN, Fox News and MSNBC?

Yes, all three, along with NewsNation, CBS News and ABC News Live from the US; CNBC and Bloomberg for the markets; BBC News and Sky News from the UK; RTÉ News from Ireland; CBC News Network and CTV News Channel from Canada; and Al Jazeera and NHK World. The table above sets them out by country. We list them; we do not rank them.

Can I follow one story on news channels from different countries?

Yes, and the line-up is well suited to it. Add two or three news desks from different countries to your favorites, then step between them with the channel buttons when a story is moving. TiviMate Premium can show them side by side through multi-view, provided your plan has a connection for every picture on the screen.

I missed the evening bulletin. Can I watch it afterwards?

On a channel that carries catch-up, usually yes. In a player that supports it, open the channel in the guide, move back to the bulletin’s slot and play it from there. The window differs by channel, and some news channels offer none, so try the ones you follow during the trial before relying on it.

Is there business and markets news?

Yes, CNBC and Bloomberg are both in the line-up. Each runs its own schedule, so use the guide to see what they air around the hours you care about, whether that is the New York open or the markets opening in Tokyo during the American evening. Keeping both in your favorites next to a general news desk puts the markets one button away.

Are Al Jazeera and NHK World included?

Yes. Al Jazeera, including its English-language channel, and NHK World, Japan’s international service, are both in the line-up. International channels like these tend to be filed by region rather than in one news group, so searching by name is quicker than browsing. Neither is restricted to a particular plan; every plan carries both.

Does the line-up include news from Canada and Ireland?

Yes. CBC News Network and CTV News Channel cover Canada, and RTÉ News covers Ireland, each filed with its own country’s channels. Keeping one of them in your favorites beside an American or British desk is a simple way to watch the same event reported from more than one place.

Will I get the local news for my city?

Not necessarily. The line-up is built around national and international news desks, and while some regional stations appear in the country groups, we cannot promise the station for your town. Search for your local station by name during the trial; if it matters to you, that check tells you more than any list we could publish.

Is live news on IPTV delayed?

Slightly, as with any television sent over the internet. A live channel reaches you a little behind an aerial or cable signal of the same broadcast, because the stream is prepared and buffered on its way. For following a story the difference rarely matters; if you are comparing it with a radio or a neighbor’s TV, expect to hear the news a moment later.

Non-fiction in the on-demand library

We describe the library by its size and layout only, since what it holds changes over time. IPTV Smarters Pro shows the Movies and Series sections most plainly, and the IPTV Smarters Pro setup guide covers its sign-in screen.

How big is the Vizwriting on-demand library?

The on-demand side holds 120,000+ titles in all, and non-fiction is one part of it rather than the whole. We describe the library by its size and layout instead of naming titles, because what it holds changes over time. The trial is the dependable test: search for three subjects you care about and see what comes back.

Are there documentary series as well as single films?

Yes. Single documentaries tend to sit in the Movies section and factual series in the Series section, where opening one lists its seasons and then the episodes in order. A two-part program on volcanoes and a twelve-episode history of a river would live in different sections, so when a search in one finds nothing, try the other.

How do I search the library for a topic?

Think in title words. Most player search boxes match words in titles rather than subjects, so type something a title would contain, such as “Arctic”, “Rome” or “volcano”. Search from inside the section you want, because a few players look only at the screen you are on. If the word finds nothing, browse the documentary category instead.

If I stop a long documentary halfway, will it keep my place?

On the same device, usually, if your player keeps resume points; many offer to continue where you stopped. The place is stored by the player on that device, not on our servers, so moving from the TV to a tablet means finding the minute yourself. Note the time before switching screens.

Can I ask for a documentary that is not in the library?

Mention it in the chat and you will get a straight answer on whether it can be found, though additions are never guaranteed. The library grows over time without a published schedule. If one program is the reason you are subscribing, search for it during the trial and decide with that answer in hand.

Is there non-fiction for children in the library?

Yes, the library has kids’ and family categories, and some of their titles are factual, from animals to how things work. For an evening of learning at home, open those categories directly rather than the full documentary shelf. Where your player offers a parental PIN or lets you hide categories, use it before the children take the remote.

What Vizwriting costs, and how you pay

Four terms, four screen counts, one line-up: the price depends only on how long you buy and how many screens play at once, and nothing renews by itself. Each combination is listed with its price under Vizwriting prices for every term.

How much is Vizwriting for a year?

Twelve months of Vizwriting on one connection cost $69, paid in a single payment. A year with two screens playing at the same time is $119, with three $159, and with five $239. The annual plans carry the same channels, library, guide and catch-up as a single month; only the length and the number of simultaneous screens change the price.

How much is Vizwriting per month?

A single month for one screen costs $15. Paying for a longer term up front lowers the monthly figure: three months are $29, about $9.67 a month; six months are $45, or $7.50 a month; a year is $69, about $5.75 a month. A single month with two, three or five connections costs $25, $35 or $49.

Does Vizwriting renew automatically?

No. A plan runs for the term you paid for and then stops; a new charge only happens if you ask for another term. No payment details are stored on our side; you have nothing to cancel and no date to watch. Near the end you can renew with one message; if you let the date pass, the login simply goes quiet.

What does a year cost if I pay month by month instead?

Bought one month at a time, a year on one connection costs $180, twelve payments of $15, while the annual plan is $69; the monthly route therefore spends $111 more for the same twelve months. The year is the better buy once you know the service suits your screens; a single month first is a reasonable way to find that out.

What is a connection on a Vizwriting plan?

A connection is permission for one stream to play at a time. There is no limit on how many of your devices hold the login; the connection count only caps how many play together. A home where one person watches a nature program in the lounge while another follows the news in the kitchen needs two.

How do I pay for Vizwriting?

You pay inside the WhatsApp chat. Say how long and how many screens, and you receive the payment details for your country in that conversation. The login is posted into the same thread once the payment clears, typically under 15 minutes later. Prices are in US dollars, and no card is kept on file afterwards.

Are the news and documentary channels an add-on?

No, they come with every plan. There are no packages to stack: a one-month plan on one connection opens the same factual networks, news desks, library, 4K feeds, guide and catch-up as a five-connection year. There is no setup fee either, and no premium tier sitting above the one you buy.

Can I buy Vizwriting for someone else?

Yes. Order in the WhatsApp chat as usual and say the login is for another household, such as a parent who watches the news all afternoon. The details arrive in your chat for you to pass on, and you can help set up their television. Choose the connection count by how many of their screens will play at once.

The trial and the money-back week

The cheapest way to find out whether the service suits you costs nothing: a day-long test on the television you actually watch. Requesting it takes one message, described on the Vizwriting free trial page.

Does Vizwriting have a free trial?

Yes. The trial lasts 24 hours on a working account rather than a preview: the factual networks, the news desks, the rest of the 25,000+ channels and the on-demand library all play. Ask for it in the WhatsApp chat; no payment details are requested, and the account switches itself off at the end.

What should I check during the trial?

Test what you will actually watch. Find the two or three news channels you follow and leave one running for half an hour; open the guide and make sure tonight’s listings fill in; try catch-up on a channel that carries it; search the library for a subject you like; and on a 4K set, play something marked 4K. Do all of it on the TV you use most.

Can I test the trial on two televisions?

One after the other, yes; at the same moment, no. The trial runs on one connection, so a single screen plays at a time. Enter the test login on both sets and compare them in turn, which is a useful way to find out whether the bedroom TV’s Wi-Fi copes as well as the living room’s.

How does the Vizwriting money-back guarantee work?

Every first purchase is covered for 7 days from activation. If playback will not work properly on your devices and support cannot put it right, ask within those 7 days and you receive a full refund. It is designed for a service that does not work for you, not for a change of mind after it has worked, and renewals of a working account are not covered.

How do I ask for a refund?

Write in the WhatsApp chat where you ordered, with your username and a line about what goes wrong; a photo of the screen helps. Support tries a fix first, and if none works, the money goes back to the payment method you used. The full conditions, including timing, are set out in the Vizwriting refund policy.

What if the trial will not play on my TV?

Say so in the chat before the hours run out, with the device, the player and what the screen shows. The cause is often a mistyped detail or a player that does not suit that device, and both can be fixed in a few messages. If the trial was cut short by a problem like that, the team can usually extend it.

Devices and player apps

Any screen that runs a player app can carry the login, and each device has its own walkthrough among the Vizwriting setup guides. Which players to install, and which downloads to avoid, is covered on the page about apps for Vizwriting.

Is there a Vizwriting app?

No, Vizwriting does not publish an app. What you buy is a login, and it runs inside a third-party player, IPTV Smarters Pro and TiviMate being the usual two, installed from your device’s own store or, on Fire OS sticks, sideloaded with Downloader. A store listing or website offering “the Vizwriting app” is not ours and should not be installed.

Can I download a Vizwriting APK?

No, and do not install any APK carrying the name. We have never released one, so a file labeled Vizwriting is either a repackaged player nobody can vouch for or something worse. Get a known player from its store listing or its developer’s own site, then enter the details from your WhatsApp message.

Which player suits documentaries and news?

IPTV Smarters Pro is the simple start: after an Xtream Codes login it splits into Live TV, Movies and Series, so the factual channels and the documentary library are one step apart. TiviMate is built around live TV and the guide, which suits anyone who mostly follows the news desks; its Premium version adds multi-view, recording and multiple playlists. Try both during the trial.

Does Vizwriting work on a Firestick?

Yes, if the stick runs Fire OS. The Fire TV Stick 4K Select is built on Vega OS instead and cannot sideload, so check your model first. On Fire OS, go to My Fire TV > About, highlight the device name and click select 7 times to reveal Developer Options, get Downloader from the Amazon Appstore, allow it to install unknown apps, and use it to fetch a player.

Does Vizwriting work on Samsung and LG TVs?

Yes, on recent models, through a player from the TV’s own store. Samsung’s store offers Smart IPTV on sets from 2022 onward, running Tizen 6.5 and up; on LG the same player needs webOS 3.0 or newer. Smart IPTV ties your M3U link to the television’s MAC address, which the app shows when it opens. For an older television, a stick in a spare HDMI port is the easier path.

Can I watch Vizwriting on Apple TV, iPhone or iPad?

Yes, through players in the App Store. The free Smarters app appears there under the name Smarters Player Lite, and iPlayTV is another option that exists only for Apple devices. Choose the Xtream Codes sign-in and paste the server URL, username and password from the WhatsApp message, which avoids typing them letter by letter with a remote.

Does Vizwriting work on Roku?

Not reliably. Roku cannot sideload apps, so everything depends on what its own channel store offers, and IPTV players appear there unpredictably. Mirroring a phone or laptop gets you a picture in the meantime. If Roku is your only device, a low-cost Android TV or Fire OS stick in a spare HDMI port is the steadier route.

Can I use a MAG box?

Yes, with a portal instead of a username. Read the MAC address off the label on the box, which on a MAG starts with 00:1A:79, and send it in the WhatsApp chat. Once that address is registered, enter the portal URL we send you in the box’s portal settings, restart it, and the channel list loads.

Can I watch on a laptop while I work?

Yes. Install IPTV Smarters Pro for Windows or Mac and sign in with the Xtream Codes details; VLC and similar desktop players will also play the M3U link if you prefer a plain playlist. A news desk running in a small window beside your work is one of the easier ways to keep up with a long day of news; it uses one connection like any other screen.

Will it run on an Android TV box or an Android phone?

Yes. Android TV and Google TV devices, and Android phones and tablets, all run IPTV players; install one from Google Play where it is listed, or from its developer’s own site. TiviMate is designed for TV devices rather than phones, so on a phone IPTV Smarters Pro is the usual choice. Sign in with the Xtream Codes details and the channel groups load.

What internet speed does Vizwriting need?

Plan on roughly 10 Mbps for each HD stream and about 25 Mbps for one in 4K, added up across every screen playing at once. An HD news channel in the kitchen and a 4K nature program in the lounge together want about 35 Mbps. Steadiness matters as much as raw speed, so the television you use most is best connected by cable.

Vizwriting support and your login

One WhatsApp conversation carries your order, your login details and every question after that, and someone answers it 24/7. There is no email address and no web account. The number and the hours are also on the Vizwriting contact page.

How do I contact Vizwriting support?

Send a WhatsApp message to +212 606 968 901; somebody answers at any hour, every day. Name your device and player and describe what the screen shows, and a photo of the TV saves several messages. There is no email or phone line: orders, trials and help all happen in that one chat, which also keeps the history in a single place.

Is there a Vizwriting account to sign in to on this website?

No. There is no customer portal, dashboard or account page on this site. Your Vizwriting login is the set of details you enter in a player, and the WhatsApp chat holds everything else: the order, the payment, the login message and every answer since. Treat that chat as your account and keep it.

Where do I enter my login details?

In your player, never on this website. Open the player’s screen for adding a playlist or user, pick the Xtream Codes option, and fill in the server URL, username and password exactly as sent, including any port number in the URL. Copying and pasting beats retyping. The player then downloads the channel list, the guide and the on-demand sections.

What are the M3U link and the EPG link for?

They serve players that do not use an Xtream Codes login. The M3U link is a single playlist address on get.php that carries your username and password inside it; the EPG address, on xmltv.php, feeds the program guide to players that want it separately. Anyone holding either link can use your connections, so keep both private.

What should I do if Vizwriting stops playing?

Start with the quick checks: restart the player and the device, try a second channel, and see whether other apps still reach the internet. If one channel fails while the rest play, that channel’s feed is the cause and support can look at it. The Vizwriting troubleshooting page goes through buffering and refused logins in order.

I lost my login details. How do I get them back?

Search your WhatsApp chats for the word “username”; the activation message holds the server URL, username, password and M3U link together. If you changed phones or deleted the chat, send a message from the number you ordered with and the details are resent. Typing them into a player restores the channels, though favorites live on each device separately.

How fast is Vizwriting activated?

In most cases within under 15 minutes of the payment being confirmed. The details are sent into the same WhatsApp chat you ordered in, so nothing is posted and nobody visits. Installing the player often takes longer than the activation itself, and the person who sent the login can talk you through that part too.

Can a friend in another home use my login?

No. A subscription covers one household, and the terms treat passing the details on or publishing them as grounds to close the account without a refund. Inside your own home, put the login on every device you own; the connection count decides how many play at once. Another home needs its own plan.

Will my favorites survive when I renew?

They live inside each player on each device, so they normally stay put as long as the same login keeps working. When you renew, ask in the chat whether your current login can carry on; if new details are issued instead, you may need to rebuild your favorite rows once on each screen.

Can I resell Vizwriting?

Yes, through the reseller program. Resellers buy credits and use them in a panel to open and extend accounts for their own customers; the packs, the panel and the conditions are set out on the Vizwriting reseller page and in the chat. We quote no income figures, because what anyone earns depends entirely on how they run it.

Not answered here?

Put the question to us on WhatsApp at +212 606 968 901. For a setup problem, name the device and the player and describe what the screen shows, and a person replies in the same chat at any hour.
