Parts list for this setup
- A Samsung Smart TV connected to the internet; for Smart IPTV, a 2022 or newer model on Tizen 6.5 or later
- A Samsung account (the store will not install without one)
- Your Vizwriting Xtream details (Smart IPTV takes the M3U link instead)
- A phone or computer nearby, needed only for the Smart IPTV upload page
Set aside about 10 minutes. Nothing to type in yet? The Vizwriting 24-hour trial sends working details to WhatsApp. A paid term uses exactly the same format, so nothing here is redone after you buy.
The Samsung Smart TV setup, in seven steps
Read the About This TV screen first
About This TV sits under Support in the Settings menu. It lists the model code and the software version, and that information settles which players are open to you. Smart IPTV appears in the store only for Samsung televisions from 2022 on, which run Tizen 6.5 or later; older sets can still use IPTV Smarters Pro where the store offers it. Write the model code down. If anything misbehaves later, it is the first thing support will ask for.
Search Apps on the home screen
Press Home and move to Apps; the search icon sits at the top of that screen. Sign in with a Samsung account if the TV asks. Search for IPTV Smarters and, on a 2022 or later set, Smart IPTV. Store listings differ from country to country, so if one name does not come up, use the other player rather than looking for a way around the store.
Match the player to how you watch
IPTV Smarters Pro takes the Xtream login and splits it into Live TV, Movies and Series, with a guide and a search field, so one app covers the news channels and the documentary shelves of the on-demand library. Smart IPTV takes the M3U link and shows it as a single run of groups. It is light and quick to move through once set up, and after its trial it costs a one-time fee for each television. Either works for the news; IPTV Smarters Pro is easier for the library.
Smarters: sign in with the Xtream details
In IPTV Smarters, the Login with Xtream Codes API button leads to a form: any profile name, then the three login values exactly as they appear in WhatsApp, with http:// before the server and the port after it. Watch the first character of each field as you type: the login is case-sensitive, and a capital letter where none belongs is the most common reason for a refusal. Press Add User and let the channel list and guide load.
Smart IPTV: send the link to the set
Write down the MAC address on Smart IPTV’s screen. Then, from a phone or computer, open the upload page on Smart IPTV’s own website, whose address the app shows on screen, enter that MAC, paste your Vizwriting M3U link and send it. Close Smart IPTV completely and open it again, because the list loads on start. If the app asks for a separate guide source, the address ending in xmltv.php from your WhatsApp chat goes there.
Lay out the news for the Samsung remote
Test the channel rocker once inside the player: some players step channels with it, others ignore it. Then make the news reachable without it. In IPTV Smarters Pro, open Live TV, find the news channels you follow and add each to favorites, usually by holding select, so the Favorites category becomes a short list of bulletins: CBC News, CTV News Channel, Bloomberg, whichever you check. In Smart IPTV the group order follows the playlist, so learn where the news groups sit.
Try Multi View, then the top-of-the-hour check
Many recent higher-end Samsung models have a Multi View feature that can place a mirrored phone beside the television picture, so a documentary plays large while a news channel runs on the phone’s half. Support for it varies by model, so check the manual, and remember the phone’s stream counts as a second connection. Then finish with a plain test: a news channel as its hourly bulletin starts, two minutes of a factual channel, and a look at the guide for what follows.
Once it plays: where the factual side lives
With the player signed in, the rest is finding things. Live channels arrive in groups, and the on-demand library keeps non-fiction on shelves of its own; the Vizwriting documentaries and news channels page explains how both are arranged. What airs next on most channels, the 9 p.m. bulletin included, is in the Vizwriting program guide. A bulletin that aired an hour ago can often be replayed through catch-up, on the channels that carry it.
Samsung Smart TV faults, by what the screen shows
Smart IPTV does not appear in the store
Smart IPTV is listed for 2022 and newer models on Tizen 6.5 or later. On an older set, or where the listing is absent in your country, install IPTV Smarters Pro instead. If neither appears, a Fire TV Stick on Fire OS or a Google TV device plugged into a free HDMI input is the dependable answer, and it adds TiviMate to the options.
Smart IPTV shows the MAC address and the words No playlist
The upload has not reached this television. Compare the MAC on the upload page with the one on screen, character by character, send the M3U link again, then close and reopen the app completely, since it reads the list only on start. A playlist sent to another set’s MAC, the bedroom television for instance, never appears here.
IPTV Smarters says the server cannot be reached
Look at the server field first: it needs http:// at the start and the port number at the end, with no space after it. If other apps on the TV load but Smarters still cannot reach the server, restart the television properly by holding the power button on the remote until it switches off and on, rather than using standby. Still refused? Send a photo of the message on WhatsApp.
One channel plays without sound
A single silent channel usually carries an audio format the television’s player handles poorly. Try another quality version of the same channel if its group has one. If every channel is silent, check the TV’s sound output: a soundbar on HDMI ARC set to the wrong input sends the audio nowhere at all.
The Smarters guide shows no listings
Open the player’s settings and refresh the guide, or sign out and back in, which reloads the program data along with the channel list. Allow a few minutes on the first run. A handful of channels carry no schedule data at all; they still play normally.
After a TV update, the player wants the login again
Software updates on Tizen sometimes clear an app’s stored data. Sign in again with the same details from WhatsApp; nothing has changed on the Vizwriting side. Pinning the message that holds your login in the chat keeps the details a single scroll away for the next time.
Nothing above matches? A photo of the screen sent on WhatsApp usually settles it faster than a description, and the Vizwriting not-working page covers faults that are not tied to one device.

Asked about Vizwriting on Samsung Smart TV
Does Vizwriting work on Samsung TVs?
Yes, without an extra box. Install IPTV Smarters Pro from the Samsung store where it is listed, or Smart IPTV on 2022 and newer models running Tizen 6.5 or later, and enter your Vizwriting login. Older sets, or sets whose store lists neither player, can take a Fire TV Stick on Fire OS or a Google TV device on one of their HDMI inputs.
Is there a Vizwriting app in the Samsung store?
No, and nothing in the store carrying the Vizwriting name came from us. Vizwriting is a login that goes into a player. On a Samsung that means IPTV Smarters Pro or Smart IPTV, and the username, password, server URL and M3U link all arrive in your WhatsApp chat.
Can I use TiviMate on a Samsung TV?
Not directly. TiviMate is an Android app and Samsung televisions run Tizen, which does not list it and does not allow sideloading. If TiviMate’s guide and multi-view are what you want, plug a Fire TV Stick on Fire OS or a Google TV device into the set and run TiviMate there.
Does Smart IPTV cost extra on a Samsung TV?
A little, yes. Smart IPTV runs free for a short trial period, after which a one-time fee per television unlocks it, paid to the app’s developer and separate from Vizwriting. IPTV Smarters Pro is the usual free alternative. Either way the player is only the shell; the channels come from your subscription.
Can a news channel play in a corner while I use another app?
Generally not on a Samsung. Tizen does not offer picture-in-picture to these players the way Android TV can, although some recent models’ Multi View can sit a mirrored phone beside the main picture. For two channels on one screen, an Android device running TiviMate Premium multi-view is the practical route, with one connection per channel.
