Parts list for this setup
- Any one of these: Fire OS stick, Android TV, phone, tablet, computer or Apple device
- The three login lines from the WhatsApp chat: username, password, server URL
- A short list of the news and factual channels you watch most
Set aside about 9 minutes. Nothing to type in yet? The Vizwriting 24-hour trial sends working details to WhatsApp. A paid term uses exactly the same format, so nothing here is redone after you buy.
The IPTV Smarters Pro setup, in nine steps
List the channels you will look for first
Before installing anything, write down the three or four channels you reach for most often: perhaps a national news desk, an international one such as Al Jazeera or NHK World, the Weather Channel and a factual network like National Geographic. Those names are your test once the login is in, and they become your favorites. With 25,000+ channels in the account, that list saves the first half hour of scrolling.
Install the build that matches the device
On Android phones, Android TV and Google TV, Google Play carries IPTV Smarters Pro. Fire TV sticks running Fire OS take it by sideload through Downloader, covered in the Firestick walkthrough, though the 4K Select model is a Vega OS device and cannot sideload anything. Apple hardware gets Smarters Player Lite from the App Store; computers get installers from the developer’s website. Samsung and LG listings vary by model year.
Sign in through Login with Xtream Codes API
Once past the terms screen, pick Login with Xtream Codes API. That route builds the three sections and fetches the program guide, whereas a playlist-URL login usually leaves Movies and Series empty. Any profile name will do. Then type the username and password, both case sensitive, and the server URL, starting http:// and ending in the colon and port number, exactly as the chat shows them. Press Add User.
Search Live TV by name, not by scrolling
Give the first sync a few minutes: channels arrive first, then the listings, with the on-demand catalog last. Then open Live TV and use the search icon, which looks through channel names, so typing Sky or NHK gets you there faster than walking through country groups with the remote. Search works inside the section you are in, so channel searches belong in Live TV and subject searches in Movies or Series.
Star the channels you open every day
With a channel highlighted, add it to favorites; depending on the version that is a long press on OK, a star icon or an entry in the channel’s menu. Work through your list. The favorites group then sits at the top of Live TV, which turns the morning routine into two presses: favorites, then the bulletin. Favorites are saved on this device only, so a tablet in the kitchen keeps a list of its own.
Read now and next, then open the full guide
While a channel plays, the info bar shows the current program and the one after it, enough to catch the start of the 6 p.m. bulletin. For the whole evening, open the guide view from Live TV, labeled TV Guide or EPG depending on the build. If listings look thin after the first day, look for a refresh button beside the guide (some builds keep it in Settings instead) and give it a few minutes.
Replay a finished bulletin where the channel keeps one
Some channels carry catch-up, and on those Smarters can play a finished program from the start, if your version offers it. Look for a Catch Up tile on the home screen or a replay option on past entries in the guide. Pick the bulletin you missed and it begins from its opening titles. Archive length varies by channel, and many channels keep none, so try one you rely on before the evening you need it.
Find the documentaries under Movies and Series
Leave Live TV and open Movies. The 120,000+ on-demand titles are sorted into categories, with non-fiction among them; open the category list and look for the documentary and factual groupings. To find a subject rather than a title, search with one plain word, such as glacier or pyramids. Documentary series live under Series, where each opens into seasons and episodes in order.
Finish with two bulletins at the top of the hour
To prove the setup, wait for the hour and switch between two news channels as their bulletins begin, then open a documentary and skip forward a few minutes. If channels change promptly and seeking works, you are done. Should a single device stutter where the rest are smooth, try the other decoder, hardware or software, in the player settings and reopen that channel.
Once it plays: where the factual side lives
With the player signed in, the rest is finding things. Live channels arrive in groups, and the on-demand library keeps non-fiction on shelves of its own; the Vizwriting documentaries and news channels page explains how both are arranged. What airs next on most channels, the 9 p.m. bulletin included, is in the Vizwriting program guide. A bulletin that aired an hour ago can often be replayed through catch-up, on the channels that carry it.
IPTV Smarters Pro faults, by what the screen shows
Favorites are gone after a reinstall
Favorites live in the app’s storage on that device, not in your account, so uninstalling the app or clearing its data wipes them. The login itself is unaffected. Add the user again with the same three details, then star the channels from your written list; ten names take a couple of minutes. On a brand-new device the list always starts empty.
One news channel shows no listings at all
If the rest of the guide is full and one row says no information, that channel sends no guide data; it still plays normally. If whole groups are blank, the guide has not finished loading or has gone stale. Run the guide refresh, wait a few minutes and reopen Live TV.
Catch-up opens an hour away from the program you chose
The replay request is built from the device clock. If the time zone on the phone, stick or TV is wrong, the app asks for the wrong hour and you land in the middle of something else. Set date and time to automatic with the correct zone, restart the app and try the replay again. Some builds also have a guide time shift setting; leave it at zero once the clock is right.
Movies and Series stay grayed out or empty
This nearly always means the account was saved through the playlist option. Create another user, this time through the Xtream Codes API login, reusing the username, password and server URL; open it, and once its sections fill, delete the first entry. If the account already went in the Xtream way, give the first sync longer, because the on-demand catalog is the biggest download and comes last.
The TV refuses a channel while the tablet is playing
A plan counts screens playing at the same moment. On a one-connection plan, a second screen either fails to open the channel or stops the first, depending on the player. Pause the other screen and the channel opens. If two people regularly watch at once, a plan with two or more connections ends it.
Nothing above matches? A photo of the screen sent on WhatsApp usually settles it faster than a description, and the Vizwriting not-working page covers faults that are not tied to one device.

Asked about Vizwriting and IPTV Smarters Pro
Can I watch Vizwriting news channels in IPTV Smarters Pro?
Yes, every channel in the line-up opens in IPTV Smarters Pro after an Xtream Codes login, news desks included. Search Live TV by name, star the bulletins you check daily, and the favorites group keeps them at the top. For what the listings cover and where they come from, see the Vizwriting TV guide.
Where are the documentaries in Smarters?
Under Movies and Series, not Live TV. The on-demand titles are sorted into categories with the factual and documentary ones among them, and documentary series open into seasons and episodes. Search with one word about the subject instead of scrolling. Live factual networks such as Discovery and History sit in Live TV, and Vizwriting documentaries and factual TV shows how the two halves fit together.
Is IPTV Smarters Pro free on iPhone and Apple TV?
Yes. On Apple hardware the free version appears in the App Store as Smarters Player Lite, and it takes the same Xtream Codes login as the Android and Fire OS builds. Nothing inside the player is charged for channels; what you watch comes from your plan. Vizwriting on Apple TV and iPhone covers the Apple-specific screens.
Does Smarters replay news I missed?
It can, on channels that carry catch-up and in versions that show the option. Look for a Catch Up tile on the home screen or a replay option on finished programs in the guide; choosing one plays it from the beginning. Not every channel keeps an archive and the length varies, so check the channels you rely on first.
Smarters or TiviMate for following the news?
Smarters is free, runs on almost everything and keeps live channels and documentaries in separate sections. TiviMate runs only on Android, but its grid is quicker for scanning many news channels at once, and its paid Premium tier adds multi-view for two desks side by side. Many households keep both, and setting up Vizwriting in TiviMate takes the same login.
Is there a Vizwriting app instead of Smarters?
No. A subscription is a login, not an app, and an APK that uses the name did not come from us. IPTV Smarters Pro is one of several third-party players that accept the login; TiviMate, MyTVOnline and Smart IPTV are others. Why there is no Vizwriting app explains what to install on each device.
